             The Winona Steamboat Racing
                        and
                 Historical Society

You don't need to own a steamboat to become a member of the
Winona Steamboat Racing and Historical Society.

You only need a desire to partake in some fun!

Joining the society will be a rewarding experience.

You will share in the festivities of the great steamboat days
races and membership ball, the Mardi Gras Celebration and
Boat Show, the Fall Run for the Sun! and ..... the Winter
Carnival Boat Show,  technology  forum, and organizational
meeting.

plus you will receive the society quarterly newspaper, enjoy
the steamboat chat line and on-line pilots forum.

Membership fees for persons eighteen years and older are
$25.

This is for one full year!  calendar date to calendar date
....  not just Jan 1 to Jan 1.

Cub Pilot's fees (ages twelve to eighteen) are only $10.


Charter memberships (for persons over 21) are only $150.

This is for a lifetime membership! ..... And lasts as long as
the society!  and entitles you to eligibility to become an
official of the society upon nomination and election by other
charter members!  ....  just think, some day you could become
the president of the society!

Of course you don't need to be a member to enter the races,
but you will need to pay the entry fee, just like everyone
else.

Members will get a $5 reduction in race entry fee.
(This five dollars comes from their membership fees and will
be entered into the cash jackpots awarded at the conclusion
of the race.)  Thus, by racing an owner in effect reduces
membership fees!  or rather membership reduce racing fees.

But if your gonna race you may as well be a member.

and if your not gonna race and just wanna get in on the fun
you may as well be a member!
